Service changes to Milwaukee County bus routes

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) announced service changes that affect schedules on several routes starting on Sunday, December 2, 2012.

Schedules change up to four times a year to accommodate regular seasonal adjustments.

The following route schedules are changing on Sunday, December 2, 2012: BlueLine (Fond du Lac – National), GreenLine (Bayshore - Airport), 15 (Holton – Kinnickinnic), 17 (Canal Street), 21 (North Avenue), 23 (Fond du Lac – National), 27 (27th Street), 30 (Sherman – Wisconsin), 33 (Vliet Street), 40 (College – Ryan Flyer), 44 (National Flyer), 49 (Brown Deer – Northshore Flyer), 52 (Clement – 15th Avenue), 53 (Lincoln Avenue), 54 (Mitchell – Burnham), 55 (Layton Avenue), 56 (Greenfield Avenue), 62 (Capitol Drive), 63 (Silver Spring – Port Washington), 76 (N. 60th – S. 70th), 79 (Menomonee Falls Flyer), 80 (6th Street), 143 (Ozaukee Express), 223 (Park Place – Bradley Woods Shuttle).  Customers are encouraged to check buses beginning on November 28 for new schedules, call the 24 hour automated bus information line at 414-344-6711 or view a preview online at RideMCTS.com.
