West Allis' newest millionaire to talk with media on Monday

WEST ALLIS -- Mary Retterath of West Allis is the Wisconsin Lottery's newest millionaire. And she'll step in front of the cameras to share her winning experience on Monday, December 3rd.

Retterath and her husband, Dennis, claimed a $1 million Powerball prize on Friday, November 30th from Wednesday's record $587.5 million drawing.  They brought their ticket to the Lottery's Madison headquarters where it was validated as the million-dollar winner.

After taxes, Retterath received $672,500.

The quick pick ticket Retterath purchased at Speedway near 92nd and Oklahoma Ave. in West Allis, matched all five regular winning numbers, though not the Powerball, in Wednesday's historic drawing.  Wednesday night's winning numbers were 05, 16, 22, 23 and 29, with a Powerball of 06.

Retterath and her husband have agreed to talk about their good fortune at a news conference on Monday morning at West Allis City Hall. FOX6 News will be there.
