SHEBOYGAN CO. — One person is dead following a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon, December 4th in the Town of Scott.

Officials say 98-year-old Erhard Klug of rural Random Lake was struck by a vehicle on County Road HH in the Town of Scott while getting his mail.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Klug accidentally stepped into the path of an oncoming van while getting his mail.

Klug was transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital. Klug later died due to his injuries and other complications.

Deputies reportedly know who the driver is, and say it is unlikely charges will be filed.

lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
