Police need help to identify suspect in car thefts

BROWN DEER -- The Brown Deer Police Department is looking for the public's help to identify a man who is a suspect in at least seven entries to autos and thefts from autos.

The incident (see more pictures below) occurred on Tuesday, November 20th at the Northpointe Apartments at 9418 N. Green Bay Rd. in Brown Deer. 

The suspect gained entry through the front secured lobby entrance by ringing the door bells of multiple residents until he was let in. Once inside, the suspect went to the garage area and then let in a second subject in a vehicle into the underground parking area of the apartment complex. Cars were entered, damaged, and items stolen. The subjects left in the vehicle together.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, about 5'8" to 5'11" tall, with a slim build. He has black short hair, was wearing a black hooded Adidas (logo on front) zipper sweatshirt with this stripes going down the sleeves, tan pants and bright pink (possibly Adidas) tennis shoes.

The suspect's vehicle is possible an older model (1999-200) silver Nissan Maxima four door with possible front hood damage.
