Sturtevant development could mean 244 jobs

STURTEVANT (AP) -- Officials in Sturtevant next week will consider a development agreement that could bring more than 240 jobs to the village.

But so far, the company planning the $32 million project has not been revealed. All those involved in the negotiation process had to sign a nondisclosure agreement. And, the company has not been named in any public documents. The development deal is simply referred to as Project Green, which could be built on 80 acres at highways 11 and H.

The village board is expected to finalize the development deal on Monday.
