Retailers and snow plow drivers wait for snowfall to pick up

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Rain in December is good news for most, but not for people depending on snow for put food on the table. Business owners like Lon Wall are hoping his snow plows can leave the parking lot to make him a buck.

Milwaukee has tied its record for days without snowfall, and Wall knows several businesses can fail thanks to that kind of record breaking weather.

True Value Manager Selina Trbovitch says shovel and salt sales have been way down the past few years. "Even with out lack of snow one thing that may be surprising here at True Value is the sale of snow blowers actually isn't that bad," she says.

Both Trbovitch and Wall say despite a weak start to the season there's plenty of winter.
