Many communities to be under snow emergencies Thursday

MILWAUKEE — Many communities in southeast Wisconsin will be under a snow emergency when dawn breaks on Thursday, December 20th. They are listed below:

  • Village of Germantown: 6 a.m. Thursday until further notice
  • City of Fort Atkinson: 12:01 a.m. Thursday until 6 p.m. Friday
  • City of Watertown: Thursday
  • City of Mayville: 1 a.m. Thursday — 1 a.m. Saturday or until snow cleanup is complete

In the city of Milwaukee, winter parking regulations began on Saturday, December 1st. Most residential streets will require alternate side night parking. Check for posted signs first for winter parking regulations on those streets where you plan to park or click here. If there are no posted signs, click here for more information, or call 414-286-CITY (2489) – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
