Wet, sloppy snow turns to rain in Pewaukee

PEWAUKEE -- Old man winter is here and some areas are seeing snow, others rain. Salt trucks have hit the roadways in Pewaukee to clear the 3-4 inches of snowfall they received early Thursday. But rain is now melting more of it.

Earlier in the day the roads were wet and slush-covered. There were no major accidents reported. Bu there were a few spin-outs.

Pewaukee Public Schools are closed due to winter weather conditions.

They join Sheboygan School District, Pewaukee Publc Schools, Menomonee Falls Schools, (Sussex) Hamilton School District, Germantown School District, Elmbrook School District and Arrowhead Area Schools as bigger districts that have announced they are closed within the last hour.
