22-year-old man charged following stabbing in Brown Deer

BROWN DEER — 22-year-old Cecil Kahill of Milwaukee has been charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide, armed with a dangerous weapon and endangering safety by use of dangerous weapon on Monday, January 7th. This, after he allegedly stabbed a woman multiple times in Brown Deer on January 2nd.

Officials say squads were dispatched to 4475 West Dean Road in Brown Deer around 8:16 a.m. for a noise complaint. While en route, the call was updated to a rescue call for a person who had passed out.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman who had sustained multiple stab wounds. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police say shortly after their arrival they took Kahill into custody.

Authorities say the 19-year-old female victim is expected to make a full recovery.
