Jackson sentenced to probation for making fake 911 calls
WAUKESHA (WITI) -- A Waukesha County judge sentenced Aisha Jackson to two years of probation on Thursday, January 31st for making fake 911 calls in order to avoid getting a ticket for her driving.
Jackson pleaded guilty to two charges of false emergency (911) phone use back on January 2nd. Five other charges against her were dropped in the case.
The criminal complaint indicates during seven instances in which she was being pulled over by a police officer in Waukesha County in 2012, she would allegedly make a call to 911. The call was allegedly made after the officer walked up to her car and returned to his squad to process Jackson’s information.
In the call to the 911 dispatch center, Jackson allegedly indicated there was an emergency of some kind at a location near to where she was stopped. In one instance, the complaint indicates she told dispatchers three masked men were entering a gas station. In another instance, the call stated a masked man with a gun was near a store. In each case, the officer who pulled Jackson over was then immediately dispatched to the “emergency” location and Jackson was spared a traffic citation.
The complaint indicates Jackson made similar fake emergency calls during traffic stops in January, twice in May, August, September, October and December.
The complaint says, “Officers investigating these incidents noted that the same female appeared to be contacting the 911 on each occasion and that each had a telephone number belonging to Aisha Jackson.”
