Officials in Racine seeking suspect, vehicle involved in hit-and-run

RACINE (WITI) -- Racine County officials are seeking a suspect and vehicle responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash near Durand Ave. and West Blvd. that occurred on Sunday, January 27th around 5:30 p.m.

Officials say 64-year-old Raymond Clark of Racine was killed when he was struck by an older model dark-colored SUV that was traveling eastbound on Durand Ave.

Officials say the vehicle did not stop after the crash. 

Clark later died at Froedtert Hospital.

Racine Police Department Traffic Investigators are interested in any additional information that you may have about this hit and run accident and would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the accident.

The Racine Police Department has not yet located the dark-colored sport utility vehicle that was involved in the accident. The vehicle is described as an SUV, possibly a Chevy Blazer type that is dark in color with a body style similar to 1998-2005 models.
