Southwest Airlines launches new ad campaign

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Southwest Airlines on Monday, February 4th held a premiere party for its new commercials.

The new ad campaign, called "Wheels Up, Milwaukee" features employees who work at Mitchell International Airport.

"I think it's totally exciting to be part of Southwest and represent Southwest in Milwaukee with my face and working with my teammates -- that's awesome," Mary Widden said.

"It's a little overwhelming, I'm not going to lie. It feels a little overwhelming. Those are about the only words I can use to describe right now -- and excited," Adyna Rivera said.

Southwest says the point of the new commercials is to show that the airline is committed to Milwaukee and Mitchell International Airport and they are looking at long-term growth here.
