MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A Milwaukee County judge sentenced Thomas Igl of Franksville on Monday, February 11th to pay $250 on misdemeanor battery charge. This, after Igl punched a passenger on a Milwaukee County bus in November 2012.

The fight between Igl and the passenger was caught on video tape. It shows there was tension between Igl and the passenger, Temujin Kibo-Gue before the man even stepped onto the bus. The video shows Igl telling Kibo-Gue not to get on the bus unless he has the bus fare.

From there, an argument began, and escalated when Igl stopped the bus, turned out the lights and allegedly got into a physical altercation with Kibo-Gue. The altercation cost Igl his job.

Igl was suspended and later discharged because of the incident.

If Igl violates his terms for probation, he could face up to ten days in the House of Correction.
