Georgetown turns over Marquette, 63-55
WASHINGTON -- Marquette committed nineteen turnovers, and Georgetown turned them into twenty-four points in Monday night's 63-55 Hoyas win.
Otto Porter scored 11 of his 21 points after a momentum-shifting technical foul on Golden Eagles coach Buzz Williams.
MU had cut a 10 point deficit to 3 in the 2nd half when Williams picked up the "T" while arguing an out-of-bounds call.
Georgetown went on an 8-1 run and raced to their sixth win in a row; both teams are 8-3 in the Big East conference, a half game behind first place Syracuse.
Jamil Wilson led the Eagles with 13 points.
