Milwaukee police investigate stabbing on city’s south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Police are investigating a stabbing that happened on Milwaukee’s south side early Tuesday morning, February 12th.

The stabbing happened at about 2:30 a.m. in a parking lot of a hotel at I-94 and Layton Ave.

A 33-year-old man told police he was stabbed during a robbery attempt by associates of a woman he met at a hotel. The victim drove himself to a parking lot near 6th and Edgerton after he was stabbed.

Two suspects, a 33-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man, have been arrested.

The victim is being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries andĀ investigation is on-going.
