"Storm the Bastille" registration now open

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Registration is now open for the annual BMO Harris Bank "Storm the Bastille" 5K run/walk.

The 5K run and two-mile walk will take place on opening night of the festival at 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 11th.

This year's 5K run/walk will begin on Jefferson and Wells Streets. The course will lead participants through the streets of downtown Milwaukee and the Historic Third Ward.

Advance registration (Feb. 5 - July 10) is $20. Race day registration is $25.

A commemorative Storm the Bastille long-sleeved t-shirt will be provided to all registered runners.
