Michael McClelland pleads no contest to amended charges

RACINE CO. (WITI) -- Michael McClelland pleaded no contest in a Racine Co. court to three felony counts of exposing a child to harmful descriptions on Monday, February 18th.

McClelland first faced a charge of first-degree child sex assault and two other felonies. Those were dismissed on Monday in exchange for amended charges.

McClelland was accused of having inappropriate communications with a pre-teen girl in Mount Pleasant in July 2012. McClelland admitted to police that he sent the girl explicit messages to her iPod Touch -- and that at one point, he had touched her under her shirt.

McClelland will be sentenced on Monday, April 1st.
