Police seek suspect in armed robbery of Germantown BP

GERMANTOWN (WITI) -- Germantown are seeking one male suspect in connection with an armed robbery of the Germantown BP gas station located on Pilgrim Road.

According to police, an employee of the BP gas station reported being the victim of an armed robbery around 6:52 p.m. Tuesday, March 5th.

Authorities say the suspect displayed a black handgun, demanded money and then fled the scene eastbound on foot.

Police believe the suspect may have parked a vehicle at a nearby clinic or bank.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 6' to 6'3" tall with a heavier build. He was wearing a black jacket, black gloves, carpenter-style pants with hammer loop, tan in color, grey scarf and white Adidas shoes with black stripes.
