MILWAUKEE — Despite 32 points and 9 assists from Monta Ellis, the Milwaukee Bucks were downed by the Dallas Mavericks 115-108 on Tuesday night in the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Thirty-six year-old reserve Vince Carter discovered the fountain of youth; he scored 13 of his 23 points in the final quarter as the visitors held off a furious Bucks rally.

Mike Dunleavy (18) and fellow former Duke Blue Devils star J.J. Redick (17) combined for 35 points; but Brandon Jennings was held to just 4.

Milwaukee visits Washington on Wednesday night.
