WALWORTH COUNTY (WITI) — There are still many unanswered questions for the family of the toddler killed last week by two pit bulls. On Tuesday, March 12th, the funeral for 14-month-old Daxton Borchardt was held in Walworth County.

Friends and family members gathered Tuesday evening at the Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay.

It is still unclear what provoked two pit bulls to attack and kill the toddler while he was at his babysitter’s home.

An autopsy was done, but it may be weeks before an official report is released.
