Brewers unveil three improvement projects at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- On Tuesday, March 19th the Milwaukee Brewers unveiled three improvement projects at Miller Park. The projects include Dew Deck renovations, a SKYY Lounge and a Miller Lite party deck.

The Dew Deck, a seating area above the right field bleachers that dates to Miller Park’s opening year, was renovated during the off-season. The signature addition to the area is a 26-foot high rock climbing wall, designed in the shape of a can of Mountain Dew.

"Kids, adults, and teens will have a great time with it. I've yet to climb it but I'm waiting for the right moment," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Chief Operating Officer.

The wall will give fans a unique view of Miller Park -- as was demonstrated by the climbing Sausages on Tuesday. The wall will be open for approximately three hours every game day, and will be designed to accommodate up to four climbers at a time.

The Dew Deck accommodates groups of 25 to 260 people (no individual ticket purchases are available).  The area features stadium seating, a private bar, and private restrooms.

Suite holders will notice the SKYY Lounge behind home plate, featuring a carving station.

Brewers officials believe the additions offer something fresh for everyone.

"We want the game on the field to be paramount and that's really why we want three million people to come here but we also want to entertain them and we realize some people are coming here and they may not be avid baseball fans," said Schlesinger.

Schlesinger says there's something else that isn't new, but should still be a welcome sight coming out of a stubborn Wisconsin winter.

"If you're looking for green grass in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I can guarantee you the grass at Miller Park is the one area that on April 1 will be bright green while everything else is brown and gray and white with snow," said Schlesinger.

The latest in unique, All-Inclusive vantage points to take in a game was unveiled in the new Miller Lite Party Deck.  The Party Deck has a capacity of 70 and is situated above the Miller Park right field Loge Bleachers.

It features 1,400 square feet of entertaining space and includes a new fixed bar, buffet counter, flat panel televisions and two levels of seating. The area is available for groups for select Brewers home games, offering an all-inclusive food and beverage experience in addition to a private setting and a spectacular vantage point for viewing the game and Miller Park surroundings.

Groups may reserve their space in the Miller Lite Party Deck and all group entertaining areas beginning on Thursday, February 7. More information is available by calling the Brewers Group Sales office at 414-902-GRPS (4777) or at Brewers.com/allin.
