Bucks blaze trail beat Portland 102-95

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks held the Portland Trailblazers to a season-low eight points in the second quarter and held off the visitors, 102-95 Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Brandon Jennings scored 24 points; Monta Ellis continued his excellent play by scoring 21 points to go with 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals.

Former Marquette star Wesley Matthews hit seven 3-pointers and notched 28 points for Portland; but the Blazers were outscored, 31-8 in that 2nd quarter; they missed 18 of 20 shots; Milwaukee led by 27 a t the break.

Luc Mbah a Moute and Ersan Ilyasova sat out the game with injuries; both could miss Wednesday night's game in Atlanta.
