Bucks fall short against Hawks again

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Monta Ellis tried to rally the Bucks past the Hawks late in the fourth quarter Sunday, but his effort wasn't enough as Atlanta beat Milwaukee 104-99.

Ellis hit 3 consecutive 3 point shots late in the fourth quarter giving the Bucks a 97-92 lead. After that they were held to 2 points while the Hawks finished with a 12-2 run to secure the win. Ellis would finish the game with 20 points.

Brandon Jennings struggled with his shot all day, going 4-15 with 12 points. Ersan Ilyasova returned to the lineup after missing the last 3 games and added 19.

Milwaukee falls to 34-35, but still holds the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
