Glenda Jackson

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 38-year-old Glenda Jackson of Milwaukee was arrested for recklessly endangering safety and DUI (first offense) after she repeatedly rammed another vehicle on I-94 near N. 27th  Friday, March 29th.

According to authorities, a Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy was traveling westbound on I-94 near N. 27th Street when he saw a Chevy Blazer ramming another vehicle.

Jackson, the driver of the Chevy Blazer, told police she had been at a house party and got into an altercation with the man and woman who were in the vehicle she rammed.

According to police, the man in the other vehicle is the father of her child and woman is his girlfriend. Jackson claims the girlfriend knocked her down with her vehicle as she left the party.

Jackson claims she followed the couple from I-43 southbound at Locust until the deputy stopped them.

Police say Jackson rammed the vehicle multiple times at a high rate of speed, and again after the deputy pulled them over. The deputy noted alcohol on Jackson’s breath, and her PBT result registered a .13.

She was arrested for DUI (first offense) and for recklessly endangering safety.

Sheriff’s detectives are conducting an investigation into Jackson’s claims of being struck outside the party by the woman’s car.

If convicted, Jackson faces imprisonment of up to 12 years and 6 months.
