Attic fire does $40K worth of damage at home of Marvin Pratt
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Fire officials say crews were called to the home of former mayor and Common Council president Marvin Pratt on Saturday afternoon, April 6th.
It happened around 1:45 p.m. in the 4000 block of N. 16th Street.
Officials say Pratt's wife heard a sound in the attic, stepped on a ladder and felt some warmth on the ceiling and called 911.
Fire officials say the attic fire caused about $40,000 in damage.
No one was hurt.
