Bucks host free electronic drive during NBA Green Week

 

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Ever wondered what to do with that old, unused computer, broken dryer or outdated VCR? If you're tired of idle electronics cluttering your space, the Milwaukee Bucks and DP Electronic Recycling have a solution.

In recognition of NBA Green Week, the Bucks are providing their commitment to caring for the environment by partnering with DP Electronic Recycling for a free elections drive, open to businesses and individuals. It will be held at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday, April 6th prior to the game vs. the Toronto Raptors, from 8 a.m. until noon.

DP Electronic Recycling staff members will be set up on State Street between North Fourth and North Sixth, ready to conveniently unload items directly from vehicles. Those who bring itms for recycling will receive a buy-one get-one free Bucks ticket offer for the game vs. Denver on Monday, April 15th at 7 p.m. Bucks mascot Bango, the Energee! dance team and Hoop Troop will thank fans for participating in NBA Green Week through their recycling efforts.

DP Electronic Recycling can take anything that can be plugged into a wall and /or runs on batteries -- including appliances. For questions regarding whether or not an item will be accepted, call DP Electronic Recycling at 262-723-2550.
