Police investigate rash of violence overnight Saturday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Saturday night, April 6th was a busy night for Milwaukee police!

Police say a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was shot in the chest near the 2600 block of N. 34th Street around 8:50 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say the man suffered two gunshot wounds to the chest.

He was taken to the hospital and was listed in serious condition.

Police continue to investigate. No one is in custody.

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 4700 block of N. 30th Street around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night.

Police say a 40-year-old Milwaukee man was involved in a domestic dispute during which he was stabbed several times. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Police say they have a person of interest in custody in connection with this incident.

Police say a juvenile was shot near the 2100 block of W. Burnham around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say a juvenile male walked into a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his left thigh.

Police say the shooting took place in the alley around 10:30 p.m.

The investigation continues as to circumstance, motive and suspect(s).

Police say a 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot near the 2000 block of N. 35th Street around 12:20 a.m.

Police say an argument was taking place on the sidewalk, when several shots were fired.

Police say the woman was struck in the buttocks.

The woman was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Also injured was a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, who sustained a graze wound to his left foot. He declined medial treatment.

Police continue to investigate. No one is in custody.
