Man thrown from motorcycle suffers severe head injuries

GERMANTOWN (WITI) — A motorcycle driver was taken by Flight for Life to the hospital Sunday night, April 28th after he was thrown from his motorcycle in Germantown.

It happened on southbound State Highway 175 (Appleton Avenue).

Officials say the motorcycle’s driver lost control, striking the median.

The driver is a 57-year-old man who suffered severe head injuries.

Officials say this incident is under investigation, with alcohol possibly being a contributing factor.
