Three hospitalized following two crashes on I-43 Sunday

OZAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) — Ozaukee County Sheriff’s officials responded to two accident scenes on Sunday evening, April 28th. Both crashes occurred on I-43 near Mequon Road.

Officials say one crash involved two cars heading northbound, and another crash involved cars headed southbound. That crash officials believe may have been caused by gawkers.

Drivers involved in the southbound incident were Jonathon Carlson of Milwaukee and Angeline Felber of Denver.

Drivers involved in the northbound incident were Brandon Turenne from Fredonia, Dawn Palmisano from Mukwonago and Anne McKenzie from De Pere.

Three people were taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.
