Brewers end skid with 6-3 win over Rangers

MILWAUKEE -- An off day Monday turned out to be a tonic for the Milwaukee Brewers in their 6-3 interleague win over the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night at Miller Park.
A 5-run first inning helped the host snap a 5 game losing streak.
Yuniesky Betancourt's 2-run homer, his team-leading 8th of the season, capped the outburst.
Aramis Ramirez also homered for the first time this season.
Winning pitcher Wily Peralta allowed 3 runs (2 earned) over 6 innings; three relievers followed with an inning each for the Brew Crew, including Jim Henderson, who registered his 7th save.
The Brewers wind up the 9 game homestand Tuesday night against Texas.
