Brewers end homestand with a loss

MILWAUKEE -- Things didn't go too well for the Brewers at home, so now they'll have to try to right their ship on the road.  The Crew loses to Texas, 4 to 1 to conclude a 3 and 6 homestand.  Next up is a ten game trip to CIncinnati, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis.

In Wednesday night's game, Kyle Lohse gave a run in the first, a run in the second, and a run in the third inning to the Rangers. The Brewers cost themselves with a pair of baserunning mistakes. Jean Segura slowed up on Aramis Ramirez's two-out hit in the bottom of the third and was tagged out at home plate.  Then in the bottom of the sixth, Ramirez made the first out of the inning at third base while trying to advance on a wild pitch.

The Rangers added an insurance run in the 7th inning and left Milwaukee with a split of the short, two-game interleague series.
