Sheboygan police search for pair of credit union robbers



SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Sheboygan police are on the hunt for a couple of armed suspects who robbed a credit union on Thursday, May 16th.

The suspects robbed the United One Credit Union on Superior Ave. around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. One of the suspects had a pistol and demanded money.

Suspect #1 is a male, black, wearing all dark clothing with white and black stripes on the cuffs and at the waist.  He was also wearing black mid-shin shorts, black and white tennis shoes, and a baseball cap with a white brim.  He wore a black mask.  He displayed a black semi-automatic pistol and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect #2 is a male, white, wearing a black Nike coat with a hood with the word “Nike” written on the back, blue colored Zuba style pants, and all white shoes.  He wore a red bandana to cover his face.

The suspects fled in gold or tan-colored mid-2000’s Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with tinted windows, silver wheels, and no front license plate.   A vehicle matching this description was captured on camera by the DOT highway camera at I-43 and Hwy 28.

There were some clothing items recovered on the roadside at the S. Frontage Rd., (Cnty OK) just south of County Highway V.  Anyone passing this area who may have witnessed this car on the shoulder of this road, or people disrobing outside the car, is asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Dept.
