Take part in the 10th Annual Support the Troops Ride

NEW BERLIN (WITI) -- Armed Forces Week in Milwaukee wraps up on Saturday, May 18th with the 10th Annual Support the Troops Ride which is open to the public.

The event starts at Hal’s Harley-Davidson (rain or shine), 1925 S. Moorland Rd., New Berlin on Saturday, May 19 at 9 a.m. with registration and a pancake breakfast. Riders will leave from Hal’s Harley-Davidson at 11 a.m. The ride will end at noon at the Harley-Davidson Museum 500 W. Canal St., in Milwaukee with a ceremony, 21-gun salute, taps and wreath laying.

The Harley-Davidson Museum will host military vehicles and equipment, Disabled American Veterans and “Guitars for Vets” displays.

“Glory,” the bald eagle from the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center will be in the museum lobby from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“Military Gallery Talks” by Tim McLean will also be in the museum from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Museum admission required.)
