Gun shots fired at car which strikes tree, catches fire

RACINE (WITI) — Racine police and firefighters were called to investigate an injury accident near Martin Luther King Dr. and Kewaunee around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18th.

When the emergency crews arrived on the scene, they found a fully-engulfed car fire. The persons inside the car told authorities gun shots had been fired at the vehicle and that they struck a utility pole while trying to get away from the gun shots.
