Sex offender meeting in Mt. Pleasant ahead of release

MT. PLEASANT (WITI) - Mount Pleasant police held a sex offender community notification meeting on Tuesday evening, March 28th at 8811 Campus Dr., Mt. Pleasant Village Hall, in Room # 109. This, as Eugene Walker and Cisco Roushia are set to be released and reside in the neighborhood.

Representatives from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Racine County District Attorney’s Office, and Racine County Victim Witness Assistance Program presented some information and were available to answer questions.

25-year-old Walker is a black male, 5'7" tall, weighing 154 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. In 2006, Walker was convicted of attempted second degree sexual assault of a child amended from attempted first degree sexual assault of a child. He was ordered to serve eight years in the Wisconsin State Prison System followed by eight years of extended supervision.

31-year-old Roushia is a white male, 5'5" tall, weighing 171 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. In 2008, Roushia was convicted of Third Degree Sexual Assault, amended from second degree sexual assault, as well as false imprisonment. Roushia’s prior criminal history includes the following convictions: Third degree sexual assault (2001), maintaining a drug trafficking place (2002), escape (2004), etc.
