New Berlin police arrest man suspected in burglaries spree

NEW BERLIN (WITI) -- New Berlin police have arrested a Mukwonago man for his suspected involvement in several burglaries in New Berlin.

Officials say the burglaries occurred prior to the 45-year-old man's arrest -- at businesses in the area of Moorland and National Avenues.

Officials say there was forced entry to the businesses, and cash was the primary target.

The initial request for charges includes two counts of burglary, obstructing an officer, possession of burglary tools and a municipal count of prowling.
