It happened in the 4200 block of County Highway KK — when a vehicle headed north failed to negotiate the curve, entered a field and struck a tree.

The 22-year-old driver, identified as Emily Demge of the Town of Port Washington, was taken to Froedtert Hospital with a possible leg injury.

The cause of the crash is still being determined — but officials ruled out alcohol and drugs as being contributors to the crash.
