MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is working to upgrade the statewide 511 traveler information system and is currently seeking public input on the features and functions important to travelers.

To provide input to WisDOT, simply visit the 511 home page (www.511wi.gov) and click on the link to the survey in the Quick Links box, or visit http://bit.ly/511wi-survey to access the survey directly.

Survey responses are due by Friday, June 7.

“It’s important to connect and get feedback from the public about the information we are providing and how we can improve our customer service,” said WisDOT Bureau of Traffic Operations Director John Corbin.

The Wisconsin 511 traveler information system provides real-time information about travel times, travel alerts and road conditions on the web (www.511wi.gov), by calling 511 on any phone or via Twitter (https://twitter.com/WisconsinDOT).
