Spike 'n Splash beach games held at Racine's North Beach

RACINE (WITI) -- Spike 'n Splash presented by Real Racine—an exciting combination of beach volleyball and watercraft daredevils—returned to Racine's award-winning North Beach on Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16.

Two-person EVP Pro Beach Volleyball teams competed in pro and amateur divisions for cash prizes. These top-flight men's and women's teams took to the beach from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and for the finals from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday.

The U.S. Grand Prix of Watercross brought more than 200 watercraft teams from across the country to vie for $10,000 in prizes in head-to-head and freestyle divisions. The watercross competition ran from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Spike 'n Splash is presented by Real Racine, the nonprofit destination marketing organization that oversees tourism promotion and development in Racine.
