Police seeking suspect allegedly involved in two armed robberies



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are seeking the public's help identifying a suspect responsible for the armed robbery of the Walgreen's store on N. 91st Street.

It happened on Friday, June 14th at the just after 3:00 p.m.

Police say the suspect in this case approached the cashier to purchase candy.

When the cashier opened the register, the suspect raised his shirt to display a handgun and threatened to shoot the cashier if she closed the drawer.

He then demanded and received money before fleeing the store.

Police believe this suspect was also responsible for an attempted armed robbery at the Family Dollar store at 9014 W. Appleton moments before this robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5'10"-6'0" tall, weighing 200-250 pounds with a medium complexion, black hair pulled into a pony tail, wearing a black waist-length jacket and a blue shirt with white horizontal stripes across the front chest, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes that are dark on the front tips.
