Mostly dry forecast with comfortable temperatures this week

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Last week we saw heat and humidity, high dewpoints and a chance of showers and storms nearly every day of the work week. This week looks to be mostly dry at this time -- with a chance of storms coming just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.

As of Sunday, June 30th, the early part of the work week looked to be dry -- with comfortable temperatures in the mid-70s.

FOX6 Meteorologist Brittney Sager says the placement of the jetstream will leave us with below normal temperatures through mid week as the west coast faces record breaking temperatures.

Rain stays out of the forecast until Wednesday when a small chance of T-showers returns.

Sager says the rain chance looks a little better on the Fourth of July -- but any showers or storms should be scattered.
