Bucks agree to contract with O.J. Mayo

MILWAUKEE -- According to multiple reports, the Milwaukee Bucks have reached a verbal agreement with free agent shooting guard O.J. Mayo on a 3-year contract worth 24 million dollars.
According to league rules, an official announcement on the deal cannot be made until July 10th.
The 25 year-old Mayo averaged 15.3 points and 4.4 assists per game last season with the Dallas Mavericks.
He'll help fill the void left at the position when Monta Ellis opted out of the final year of his contract and reserve guards Mike Dunleavy and J.J. Redick signed with other teams.
O.J. Mayo's younger brother Todd is a member of the Marquette University basketball team.
