Deputies respond to downed aircraft in Brownsville

DODGE CO. (WITI) -- Dodge County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene of a downed aircraft west of Brownsville Friday afternoon, July 5th.

The plane, flying out of Hartford Airport, ran out of gas just south of Highway 49 near West Line Rd. and Highway V.

The pilot was a student on his last test flight. He was able to land the plane safely.

Once on the ground, crew members fueled the plane then taxied to the highway and successfully took off. There were no injuries.
