Missing woman who is cognitively delayed found safe

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police had been searching for a 42-year-old woman who was reported missing at approximately 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 5th.

Debra Chambers is considered critical due to the fact that she is cognitively delayed.  She was last seen by relatives early Friday morning at her residence in the 3800 block of N. 26th St.

Chambers is described as African American, approximately 5'2" and 275 lbs with short black hair and brown eyes. She walks with a limp and is missing fingers on her right hand. It is unknown what type of clothing she may be wearing.

Chambers was found safe by a Milwaukee County Transit driver at 35th and Silver Spring on Saturday, July 6th.
