Ryan Braun

PHOENIX — Ryan Braun left the Brewers before Thursday night’s game in Arizona due to a serious family medical issue. He was placed on bereavement leave, which means he has to miss at least 3 games and no more than 7 by baseball rules.
Braun returned to Milwaukee’s lineup Tuesday against Cincinnati after missing 26 games with an inflamed nerve in his right hand.
The 5-time All-Star is batting .306 with 9 home runs and 36 RBI in 58 games.
