MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has been robbing businesses along N. 76th St. at knifepoint.

MPD’s District Four has indicated that the suspect they are looking for is described as a black male, 6’0″ to 6’2″ tall, weighing 150-170 pounds, wearing a red, white and blue hooded sweatshirt with the letters DGK in red over white background, blue jeans and white or light tennis shoes.

He also wears a silver chain hanging from his belt.

The suspect has targeted businesses along N. 76th Street from W. Silver Spring Dr. to W. Good Hope Rd.

Typically the suspect enters the business armed with an 8-inch kitchen knife and demands money. He has then been seen getting into a silver vehicle (on the passenger side), possibly a Dodge Intrepid.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7242.
