Heat this week, with temperatures in the 80s and high humidity

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- We're in for a hot and humid work week, with temperatures in the high 80s and high dewpoints in the upper 60s, which will bring a sticky, muggy feeling to the air this week.

FOX6 Meteorologist Rob Haswell says this work week looks to be mostly dry, with a slight chance for an afternoon pop up shower or isolated thunderstorm each day this week.

The best chance for storms comes Thursday and Friday, leading to cooler and less humid temperatures for the weekend.



Today: Partly sunny, warm and humid. Slight chance for an afternoon pop-up shower or isolated t-storm. High: 86°. Dewpoint: 70°. Wind: Bec. E/SE-S 3-9 mph

Tonight: Patchy fog. Muggy. Low around 68°

Tuesday through Thursday: Warm and humid. Mostly sunny days. Mostly clear nights. Slight chance for an isolated pop-up shower or t-storm each afternoon, but most areas remaining dry. Morning lows in the low 70s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to around 90°. Dewpoint in the low 70s.

Friday: Partly sunny and muggy. Showers and t-storms. Morning low: 73°. Afternoon high: 87°. Dewpoint: 70°.

Friday night: Evening showers and t-storms, then clearing late. Low around 65°. Dewpoint dropping into the low 60s.

Saturday: Partly sunny, cooler and less humid. High near 80° but cooler lakeside. Dewpoint dropping into the 50s.
