CENTURIA, Wis. (WITI) —  The body of two-year-old Isaiah Theis, the toddler who was reported missing after he allegedly wandered away from his home in Centuria, Wiscosnin Tuesday evening, July 16th, was found by an officer Wednesday night, July 17th.

At this time, it is unknown where the boy was found or the cause of death.

A family friend says the two-year-old was last seen playing with his older brother. He may not have been wearing shoes when he wandered off.

More than 100 volunteers joined police to search for the missing two-year-old boy in Centuria, Wisconsin.

Volunteers and police searched until 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, and began again at 6:00 a.m. Officials say the two-year-old boy was found just after 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

The family’s farm is surrounded by dense woods and overgrown fields —  which made the area difficult to search.
