WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- West Allis police and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirm a 48-year-old man died in an industrial accident on Sunday morning, July 28th.

Crews were called to a business called Metal Technologies on S. 68th Street around 7:00 Sunday morning.

At the business, they discovered a man from out of state had passed away. The Medical Examiner says the man was taking apart equipment, and an initial report indicated the man fell 15 feet.

The man's name has not been released, pending notification of family.

The investigation continues at the scene, and the Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the man's cause of death.

Meanwhile, neighbors say Metal Technologies -- an iron company, was recently sold. The front doors were locked Sunday, and calls to the corporate headquarters were not returned.
