'Herb's Superb Bucks Milk House' returns to State Fair

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have announced a new sponsorship of the Wisconsin State Fair in collaboration with everyone’s favorite 25-cent milk house. The popular 25-year State Fair attraction will now be known as ‘Herb’s Superb Bucks Milk House.’

The State Fair favorite will be located at Main Street and Grandstand Avenue, close to its 1989 original location. More than 160,000 cups of 25-cent Wisconsin flavored milk are sold annually at the Milk House as fairgoers quench their thirst with the Dairy State’s refreshing, healthy, delicious drink.

The Bucks promotional support will enhance the Milk House experience with daily visits by team personalities including past and current Bucks coaches and players, along with team broadcasters. Bucks entertainers like the 2013 Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Hoop Troop will appear throughout the State Fair, and kids will have the opportunity to take a shot at the Milk House basket.

Former Wisconsin U.S. Senator and Bucks owner Herb Kohl will again be on hand to greet fairgoers. Bango, former NBA Mascot of the Year and a fan favorite, will make appearances throughout the State Fair’s run. Bucks broadcasters Jon McGlocklin and Jim Paschke of FOX Sports Wisconsin, and Ted Davis, voice of the Bucks on 620 WTMJ AM and the Bucks statewide radio network, will also be on hand at the Milk House.

The new location still features five delicious flavors – chocolate, root beer, strawberry, cherry vanilla and banana – while adding more space for milk lovers, interactive fun with Bucks Hoop Troop members, and meet and greet and photo opportunities with the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, Bango and broadcasters. A new specially-sculpted Bango park bench provides the perfect setting for family photos and videos at the Milk House, providing an always-available Bango presence to be included in the shots. High top tables, perimeter seating and large graphics of past Bucks legends and current players will add to the new Bucks Milk House site.

The adjacent Bucks Headquarters barn will provide complete information on the upcoming season as well as a selection of Bucks and Milk House adult and youth merchandise. Bucks ticket representatives will be on hand to offer ticket packages for the soon-to-be-released 2013-14 schedule.

A complete schedule of Bucks personalities at ‘Herb’s Superb Bucks Milk House’ will be updated regularly on Bucks.com/StateFair.
